Qigong is a traditional Chinese modality which is similar to Tai Chi. Qigong offers simple slow gentle flowing movements which assist in calming the whole nervous system which soothes the mind, encouraging a brighter outlook. Preformed standing it strengthens the legs and the gentle twisting and arm movements provide essential stimulation to the digestive system, respiratory & cardiovascular system. It is designed to create flow of blood and chi (life force energy) allowing the body to come into balance. Qigong can open energy channels that may be congested or deleted which supports its innate healing ability. Practiced regularly it is very beneficial for arthritis, stress related issues and much more.
